I literally packed my car with my office equipment and a small bit of my clothing and drove 1,500 miles—leaving the comfort of my mountain home in Show Low, Arizona, and significant financial stability—to settle here in the Quad Cities and start over completely.
Many people thought I had lost my mind to step away from almost everything I owned. But for me, it was the only way to finally build a life where my own needs, feelings, and desires would not be ignored.
